Author Talk: Jack Mitchell–Selling the Hug Your Customers Way

No one knows more about selling than Jack Mitchell and no one can better explain the art and science of establishing an emotional connection between buyer and seller. Jack will discuss the importance of a ‘hugging’ culture and the positive impact it can have on any company in any industry. He will explain the importance of building relationships with customers and employees as outlined in his first two books: Hug Your Customers and Hug Your People. He will then focus on his newest book, Selling the Hug Your Customers Way, which homes in on his signature process of getting to know customers to boost sales.
Jack Mitchell is chairman of the Mitchell Stores (Mitchells/Richards/Wilkes/Marios), a three-generation family business that operates men’s and women’s specialty stores in Connecticut, New York, California, Washington and Oregon that are nationally renowned for their personal service touches and strong relationships. For years, Mitchell Stores has been used as a case study at Harvard Business School.
