Webinar with Speech-Language Pathologist Nancy Schwartz, PhD: Basic Inferring of Information: Importance for Reading and for Life

January 5 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Free

Join SPED*NET for this webinar, “Basic Inferring of Information (Importance for Reading and for Life)”

Many children, especially those who are black-and-white thinkers, have trouble with drawing inferences: the ability to see and process what lies “between the lines.” Learning to infer information is essential for our children to be able to think clearly, to make good decisions, to solve concrete problems, to solve social problems, and to perform well academically.

Speech-language pathologist Nancy Z. Schwartz, Ph.D., will discuss how learning to infer information is the key to being an active, independent participant in life, beginning in preschool and moving on to grade school, college and beyond.

There is no charge for participation in this event. Register online.

The event is presented by SPED*NET Wilton in partnership with the Wilton Public Schools and Newtown Sped PTA.
