Be Well, Stay Well: Gut Health — Fact vs. Fiction

February 6, 2024 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm
Free

Join Wilton Library to learn more about the hot topic of gut health. Gut health has risen in popularity all over the media and, generally, with good reason. Scientists are just starting to scratch the surface on how important our gut microbiome is for overall health. But with new information comes lots of misinformation. Join Monica Marcello, RVNAhealth Registered Dietitian, MS, and Nutrition Educator and learn what is worth your time and effort and what can be left behind to effectively optimize your gut health and improve your overall well-being.

Marcello is RVNAhealth’s registered dietitian and nutrition educator who promotes holistic health, longevity, and quality of life. Her areas of expertise include disease prevention and treatment for many chronic and acute conditions. Her primary concentration includes treating digestive disorders such as Gastroesophageal Reflux Disorder (GERD), Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth (SIBO), and Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD). Marcello also has extensive experience in conditions such as heart disease, high cholesterol, diabetes, obesity, and weight management.

Registration is suggested. See the event listing online for the registration link. Email for more information.
