Birding Walk and Pollinator Pathway Vision–Allen’s Meadow

Spring migration is in full swing with migrants from as far south as South America arriving in our state to either breed or continue on to breeding grounds north of us. Join Wilton resident Joe Bear in an NRWA/Pollinator Pathway-sponsored event as we spend a leisurely two-hour walk through the diverse habitats this birding hot spot has to offer – Pollinator Pathway patches, open field, woodlands, edges, pond and swamp. Recent sightings have included 14 warbler species, Baltimore Orioles, Scarlet Tanagers, Rose-breasted Grosbeaks, Wood Thrush, Swallows, and more.
