Blessing of the Pets at Temple B’nai Chaim

Temple B’nai Chaim is holding a community-wide Blessing of the Pets. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend!

As we gather in the courtyard, Rabbi Bearman and Student Cantor Hamstra will lead a brief ceremony where we celebrate the love, laughter, and companionship that our pets bring to our lives. We will also offer a prayer of mourning for anyone who is remembering a beloved pet.

All animals are welcome but should be either leashed or secured in travel cages.

Local photographers Bruce Miller and Jon Gordon will be on hand to take photos–including pet portraits–for participants to purchase. These make a great holiday gifts! (Pricing is available upon request.)
