Brunch with Benedict Arnold

The Drum Hill Chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR) invites the community to a lovely brunch and lively presentation, “Benedict Arnold ~ American Hero and Traitor, ” by Col. Dr. Larry A. Maxwell. The event takes place on Saturday, March 16, from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m., at the Redding Country Club, 109 Lonetown Road, Redding, CT.
Most people know Benedict Arnold was an infamous traitor but do they know he was also a great American hero? Come learn more about the complex life and other side of Arnold. Col. Maxwell is a renowned author, reenactor, historian, former Chairman of the Company of Military Historians, West Point; and Director of the Living History Guild.
The Program and Brunch is $50 per person and the proceeds benefit the DAR Drum Hill Chapter’s children’s programs, scholarships and more.
