Carry the Load National Day of Service: Headstone Cleaning Event

Patriot Day, observed each year on Sept. 11, is a national day of remembrance honoring the nearly 3,000 lives lost in the terrorist attacks of 2001, as well as the countless first responders and service members who answered the call in the days, months and years that followed.

In recognition of this solemn day, Hillside Cemetery is proud to partner with Carry The Load and the Department of Veterans Affairs, to offer a meaningful way to honor those who have served our country. Join us for a National Day of Service and Remembrance by volunteering to help clean headstones and beautify these sacred grounds in tribute to our military, veterans, first responders and their families. Rediscovering History and their crew will provide instructions. Bring gloves, all cleaning supplies will be provided.
