CT Photographer Stephen Wilkes Book Talk

Join one of Connecticut’s most accomplished artists as Stephen Wilkes shares images and stories from his artistic legacy, including his new book, Day to Night, and documentary film, Jay Myself.

Wilkes, a longtime Westport resident, has built an unprecedented body of work and a reputation as one of America’s most iconic photographers. His work is included in museums around the world and his editorial work has appeared in, and on the covers of, leading publications such as The New York Times Magazine, Vanity Fair, Time, Fortune, National Geographic, Sports Illustrated, and many others. Wilkes’ most defining project is Day to Night, where he documents iconic global locations from dawn to dusk.

The talk is presented by the Syracuse University Alumni Club of Westchester/Fairfield. Wilkes is an emeritus member of the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications’ Advisory Board.

Tickets are $10 and include light refreshments. Tickets can be purchased online.
