Get Well, Stay Well: Alternative and Complementary Medicine

Get Well, Stay Well:  A health literacy series presented by Wilton Library and Western Connecticut Health Network presents a seminar on integrative medicine, which includes therapies that address a holistic approach to health and healing. Facts and myths about alternative and complementary medicine also will be discussed.

The featured speaker will be Dr. Kesav G. Nair, MD, FACP, a board-certified medical hematologist/oncologist and senior attending oncologist at the Norwalk Hospital C. Anthony and Jean Whittingham Cancer Center. Nair was part of the task force that created the integrative medicine program at Norwalk Hospital.

The program and following Q&A session will be moderated by Wilton Library trustee Saras Nair, MD who was previously chairman of the Pathology Department at Norwalk Hospital.
