Lenore Raphael is an internationally renowned jazz pianist, Steinway artist, jazz radio host, and jazz teacher. She has performed in many major jazz clubs and festivals including Dizzy’s at Jazz at Lincoln Center, The Blue Note, Birdland, Ronnie Scott’s in London, The Jazz Showcase in Chicago, The London Jazz Festival, and many more.
A British critic said that “Lenore Raphael’s performance at the London Jazz festival was very reminiscent of the great Oscar Peterson…not only in her technique but her sensitivity as a great accompanist” and Scott Yanow wrote in the LA Jazz Record: “Raphael is simply one of the best pianists in the jazz mainstream…she always swings.”
