New Perspectives Film Series—”From Seed to Seed”

In this unique documentary, Terry Mierau and Monique Scholt give up their lives as opera singers in Europe to pursue their shared passion for sustainable, small-scale farming in the small Village of Neugberthal, in Southern Manitoba. While exploring this new community, they grow their passion for ecological farming along with their crops. Environmental activist Dr. Vandana Shiva and climate scientist Dr. Ian Mauro address many issues related to farming in our changing climate. Experts in consumer and processor forces discuss the growing preference for organic food and how this increased demand affects ecological agriculture.
