Back by popular demand for our fifth year! Professional book discussion leader Susan Boyar will discuss six short stories published in The New Yorker magazine over six consecutive weeks.  Each Wednesday’s meeting will be about the previous week’s story. Story titles will be announced one week prior to the discussion. The first story is ‘Son of Friedman,’ by Emma Cline, found in the July 1 issue of The New Yorker.

The current issue of The New Yorker is available in the Reading Room for in-library use or download it through RBDigital.   Bring lunch; beverages will be provided. Session dates: July 3, July 10, July 17, July 24, July 31, and August 7.  The event will be held in the Rimer Room of the Wilton Library. Advance registration suggested.  Register online or call 203.762.6334. By registering for the first session, you will automatically be registered for all six sessions.
