Patriots’ Day — Cemetery Tour and Program

April 23 @ 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Join us at the Hillside Cemetery and Arboretum in the Never Forget Garden, for a special event called Patriots’ Day.

We will visit the graves of several Wilton patriots and reflect on how they contributed — both in service and in spirit — to this chapter of American History.

Afterward, we are all invited to the Wilton Library at 7 p.m. for a Patriots’ Day Program, sponsored by the Daughters of the American Revolution, Drum Hill Chapter entitled “Revolutionary Choices: Patriotism, Loyalism, Neutrality and the fate of the American Revolution.” Dr. Jonathon Awtrey will speak about the origins of the American Revolution and will consider how and why Anglo-Americans chose to side with the Patriots or Loyalists or remain neutral.
