The Planning and Zoning Commission is a nine-member elected body responsible for overseeing land use and development activity within Wilton. Key responsibilities of the commission are reviewing zoning regulation amendment applications, changes to the Town’s zoning map, and applications involving the subdivision of land, and evaluating mandatory referrals from the Board of Selectmen. Additionally, the commission oversees long-range planning initiatives, including the preparation of the Town’s Plan of Conservation and Development.
Planning and Zoning Commission Regular Meetings typically occur on the second and fourth Mondays of the month, from 7-9 p.m.
Meetings can be attended by the public via the Zoom link.
Members of the public can submit written comments and questions via email to Land Use Director/Town Planner Michael Wrinn by 12 p.m. on the day of the meeting, or members of the public can comment on Zoom at the appropriate time by raising a hand to notify the host of the intent to provide comments. Public participants will be promoted one at a time to provide comments live on Zoom.
