Red Cross Babysitting Course at the Wilton Library
Join the Wilton Library on Saturday, February 7, at 10:30 a.m. for The Red Cross Babysitting Course. This course prepares teens to safely and confidently care for children and infants. It includes hands-on activities, videos, and discussions to develop essential, real-life readiness babysitting skills. The course covers feeding, diapering, picking up and holding children, safety, and emergency response. Participants receive a certificate of completion.
The course includes two 15-minute breaks, plus 30 minutes for lunch. Snacks will be provided, but please bring your own lunch. Participants should wear comfortable, non-restrictive clothing, as some skills practice takes place on the floor.
Registration is required; this program is for teens ages 12-16.
