Songs of Thanksgiving: Choral Concert with Harpist, Children’s and Adult Choruses

Music on the Hill invites all to enjoy the inaugural performance of the Community Children’s Chorus (2nd-8th grades), alongside the 40-person Festival Chorus. “Songs of Thanksgiving” honors the season, and includes some beautiful familiar tunes, alongside original pieces inspired by the Wabanaki tribes and the poetry of Rainer Maria Rilke.

Wilton’s renowned harpist Wendy Kerner will be featured in a world premier, composed for her by Dr. Ed Thompson from the Unitarian Church in Westport. Artistic director Ellen Dickinson will conduct all works, including several beautiful pieces of her own. A lovely concert to honor and give thanks to the world we live in.
