Sounds of the Season Concert

Music on the Hill presents a festive concert of the Jubilate Ringers handbell choir and Festival Chorus performing classic carols and songs.
Featured: the premiere of “Stars over Snow: An English Christmas,” artistic director Ellen Dickinson‘s arrangement of English carols for chorus and handbells. Dickinson will conduct.
Other selections include Ralph Vaughan Williams’ “Wassail Song;” Alice Parker’s arrangement of “Il Est Né;” and a setting of Tennyson’s “Ring Out, Wild Bells” by contemporary composer Linda Dowdell.
The concert includes favorite carols sung by all with the majestic St. Matthew’s organ.
Free, with donations welcome ($20 suggested). Children and students are free.
