The Wilton Police Awards–POSTPONED

The 18th Annual Wilton Police Awards, sponsored by the Wilton Rotary Club, will be held on Monday, March 9, at 6 p.m. in the Brubeck Room at the Wilton Library.

Each year these awards recognize the Police Officers who protect and serve our community. This event is open to the public. Chief of Police John Lynch, First Selectwoman Lynne Vanderslice and the police commissioners will be on hand to honor our men and women in blue. Some of the prestigious awards include Medal of Honor, Medal of Valor, Meritorious Police Service, Police Officer of the Year, and Community Police Officer of the Year.

Chartered in 1982, the Wilton Rotary Club has raised and returned $750,000 to the Wilton Community, and to those in need, around the world. Wilton Rotary is one of 35,000 Rotary Clubs in 200 countries across the globe. The Club meets every Friday at 12:15 p.m. at Rolling Hills Country Club.
