Wilton Fire Department’s 9/11 Memorial Ceremony, Commemorating 25th Anniversary, Blumenthal & Murphy to Attend

The Wilton Fire Department will hold its annual 9/11 Memorial Ceremony on Friday, Sept. 11, at 10 a.m. at Wilton Fire Headquarters (236 Danbury Rd.) to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.

Both U.S. Senators Richard Blumenthal and Chris Murphywill be attending as speakers at this year’s ceremony.

As it does each year, the Fire Department invites the Wilton community to join department members in remembering those who lost their lives and honoring the courage and sacrifice of first responders and all who continue to serve. The ceremony is open to everyone to attend.
