We’re proud to announce the Fifth Annual Norwalk River Duck Race in celebration of our community and the Norwalk River!
Learn how to cast a fly rod, learn about some exciting river restoration projects and of course, watch your rubber duck race it’s way downstream!
Ducks cost $25 an entry and 100% of the proceeds go towards Trout Unlimited‘s conservation mission to restore the Norwalk River.
Rubber ducks will launch simultaneously over the Schenck’s Island bridge (across from Stop & Shop) at 10:45 a.m. sharp and race through the Norwalk River. They will hit some bumpy currents along the way, encounter some real ducks and wildlife but easily cruise to the finish line at a marked spot! The race takes approximately 15-20 mins and participants will be able to follow along from either the street sidewalk, island side or wait at the marked finish line. First duck to the finish line wins a prize!
