WLA/SCORE: SCORE Entrepreneurial Cohort (Session 5)

Get your questions about managing and growing your business answered by real entrepreneurs in the community. With Ivonne Zucco as the highlighted speaker for this workshop at Wilton Library, she will discuss managing and growing a business with workshop participants. The discussion focuses on what many business owners need to know about the most effective tool for obtaining clients.
Many people dread networking because they feel they are supposed to sell something to strangers. Nevertheless, networking can be fun and even exciting! More importantly, knowing how to network is crucial to standing out in this competitive market. People prefer to do business with someone they have met in person — no social media or marketing will ever replace that personal touch.
In this interactive, hands-on workshop:
- Learn about the importance of creating lifelong networks and how to do it.
- Become inspired to speak about what you do and the significance of knowing your “Why”
- Create and practice your own elevator pitch.
By the end of the workshop, your confidence and comfort with networking will compel people to remember your name when they need your services. As the Founder and CEO of A Better Story Coaching, Zucco’s mission is to support individuals and companies and help unlock the potential everyone has within. Her unique analytical thinking and foresight skills allow her to generate creative solutions to organizational challenges and long-term projects. Zucco also easily translates ideas into actionable plans connecting missions to programs.
