Wreaths Across America Day at Historic Sharp Hill Cemetery
On Saturday, Dec. 17, at 12 p.m., the Capt. David Hawley Society Children of the American Revolution, Drum Hill Daughters of the American Revolution, and the Wilton Congregational Church will sponsor a Wreaths Across America wreath laying ceremony at the historic Sharp Hill Cemetery at the corner of Sharp Hill Rd. and Rte. 7.
In many homes, there is an empty seat for one who is serving or one who made the ultimate sacrifice for America. There is no better time to express appreciation than during the hustle and bustle of the holiday season.
We hope you will join us for Wreaths Across America Day here in Wilton, or at any of the other 3,500 participating locations across America, to show our veterans and their families that we will never forget.
All are welcome and there is no need to donate in order to lay wreaths or be a part of the ceremony, although contributions are appreciated at Wreaths Across America location webpage.
