To the Editor:

Starting a family and purchasing a house in June of 2011 required me to part with a 1997 Honda Valkyrie motorcycle that my uncle had given me when I was younger. It is a unique motorcycle that I know down to the frame and VIN, it provided years of miles and smiles for my wife and I. The gentleman that I sold it to was from or around Wilton, CT. He called me about a week after purchasing it, he was on a road trip to California, he was impressed with the condition and performance and thanked me for the fine machine. He seemed to take care of things and had a passion for motorcycles, I am hopeful that he has taken good care of it over the years.

Fast forward to June 2025, my children have grown and my uncle has recently passed away. My son has taken an interest in motorcycles and it got me thinking how great it would be to one day pass along my own/original motorcycle to him. I have tried reaching out to multiple online groups in the Wilton area to locate the owner and motorcycle with no success. I cannot remember the gentleman’s name but I am in hopes that someone may recognize the motorcycle and can pass along that I have been trying to reach him to inquire about purchasing the motorcycle back.

Any help is greatly appreciated and I thank you for your time.
