Wilton Youth Council will introduce the first annual Wilton’s Great Golf Ball Drop, a great new opportunity to support the organization that comes with chances to win exciting prizes. Supporters will be able to purchase a ticket and then attend the event to watch a helicopter fly in over Allen’s Meadow and drop numbered golf balls onto a target below.
The Grand Prize offered is a February Break 2026 Getaway package, which includes a $2,000 airfare gift card paired with luxury accommodations in Cancun, Mexico. In total, there are 20 prizes, often highlighting the best of Wilton. These include a $500 Gift card to Outdoor Sports Center, a three-month family membership to the Riverbrook YMCA, and a Summer “Super Mini” Photo Session with Moments by Andrea Photography and much more.
Details and the complete list of prizes are available on the Wilton Youth Council website; tickets can also be purchased online. Tickets are $50 and all proceeds will support the work of Wilton Youth Council. This includes:
- Class Projects events for students and parents
- Hosting the Post Graduation Party (PGP)
- Leading the Wilton Coalition for Youth, bringing together youth-facing organizations in town and spearheading the #WiltonIsWhereYouBelong campaign, including two new signature events this year — the Volunteer Fair and the recent Community Cultural Fair
- Organizing supportive and educational Parent Programs on diverse range of topics
- Sponsoring Youth to Youth at Middlebrook and Wilton High Schools

Wilton’s Great Golf Ball Drop will take place on Saturday, May 31, at 3 p.m. at Allen’s Meadow, Field #4. Spectators are welcome!
