With this week’s Teacher Appreciation festivities, and Mother’s Day on Sunday, plus the approach of graduation, the Wilton Education Foundation (WEF) has a wonderfully GOOD way to mark the occasion.

Create a lasting impression for someone special by purchasing a personalized brick in support of the Wilton Education Foundation. The next time you enter a Wilton Public School, look down. You will see a custom brick walkway adorned with personalized bricks honoring students, teachers, coaches, teams, clubs, alumni, family members and special groups in the community. The public is invited to be a part of this project by contributing a permanently engraved brick, which will remain a lasting part of the Wilton schools.

Funds raised from the sale of engraved bricks will be utilized by WEF to support district-wide projects that have a broad impact on academic and enrichment learning, specifically, technology projects and supplemental tech-related classroom materials, professional development scholarships, and funds to enhance arts and music in the schools. All proceeds benefit the Wilton public schools.

Bricks can be purchased with a contribution of $100, which covers the installation of a 4”x 8”x 2 1⁄4” brick, customized with text you choose. Symbols such as hearts or stars cost an additional $15.
