Dear GOOD Morning Wilton Readers,
As 2025 comes to a close, I’m filled with gratitude for this community and for everyone who relies on GOOD Morning Wilton for independent, trustworthy local news. This year proved just how essential that mission is.
In 2025, we broke the story on the serious troubles within Wilton’s Finance Department, bringing needed transparency and accountability to Town Hall. When no other media covered our local elections — the candidates, the issues, or even the results — we were there. And as development pressures and rising multifamily housing proposals shaped the conversation about Wilton’s future, we worked to make sense of it all for you.
This work takes persistence, long hours, and the freedom to report without influence — independence made possible only because you believe in and support what we do.
In 2026, we’re expanding how we serve you: new technology, tools and offerings to help you stay informed and engaged; more ways to connect with local events, businesses, organizations and one another; and deeper reporting to help you participate fully in the decisions shaping our town.
If you value this kind of independent local journalism, I hope you’ll consider becoming a GOOD Morning Wilton member. Reader support is what sustains our work — it allows us to stay independent, ask tough questions, and keep Wilton informed. Every membership, at any level, truly makes a difference in helping us continue this essential service for our community.
Thank you for reading, for caring, and for standing with GOOD Morning Wilton. I’m deeply grateful — and excited for what we’ll build together in the year ahead.
Wishing all happy holidays and a happy New Year!
With appreciation,
Heather Borden Herve

P.S. We’re signing off for 2025 — see you back here on Jan. 5, 2026.
