St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church has been a vibrant part of the Wilton community for 223 years, offering a warm welcome. Rooted in the teachings of Jesus Christ, whose life, death and resurrection offer hope and salvation to the world, our tradition emphasizes God’s love embracing everyone without exception. We foster an environment where every person is accepted and valued.
We celebrate diversity and warmly welcome people of all genders and sexual orientations. Our leadership — consisting of laypersons, bishops, priests and deacons — thrives on collaboration, working together to guide our community.
On Sunday, Sept. 14, at 10 a.m., St. Matthew’s will kick off our program year for 2025-2026. We invite you to join us for a day filled with worship and fellowship as a preview of the exciting plans that we have for the year ahead.
We offer weekly Sunday Eucharist, Church School, a nursery for children four years and younger, and mission and service projects. Our year-long Arts programming offers enriching opportunities, including events tailored for children, youth, and families, as well as contemplative worship services.
Join us as we build a faith community where everyone belongs. Please mark your calendars and join us at 36 New Canaan Rd., Wilton!
