The following is a press release from Family and Children’s Agency.

This spring’s Minks to Sinks sale was highly successful, demonstrating strong community support through donations, consignments, and robust shopper attendance. Officials said the enthusiastic participation underscores the community’s dedication to supporting the critical work of Family and Children’s Agency (FCA).

The sale, organized each year by a dedicated group of nearly 200 volunteers, featured a diverse array of high-quality furniture, unique household items, and much more, helping to raise significant funds.

“We are thrilled with the turnout and the level of community engagement at this year’s sale,” Minks to Sinks Co-Chair Linda Koch said.

“The contributions from donations and consignments, the hard work of our volunteers, and the fun shopping atmosphere played a crucial role in making the sale a success,” added Minks to Sinks Co-Chair Jennifer Davatzes.

“I am profoundly grateful for the community’s overwhelming support at this year’s Minks to Sinks sale. Each contribution, whether through volunteering, consigning, or shopping, directly supports Family and Children’s Agency in our mission to enhance the well-being of individuals and families we serve. Thank you for standing with us as we continue to make a meaningful impact together,” Family and Children’s Agency President and CEO Robert F. Cashel said.

Preparations for the next Minks to Sinks sale are already underway, with the first day of sales scheduled to start on Saturday, Oct. 5. “Mark your calendars and stay tuned for further details on how you can continue to support this excellent cause,” Cashel added.
