CHRISTMAS EVE SERVICES: Wilton Congregational Church will open its doors — and its heart — to the entire Wilton community for Christmas Eve. Rooted in New England tradition and alive with the hope and beauty of the season, the historic 18th-century sanctuary becomes a place to gather, reflect, sing, celebrate and reconnect with what matters most.

On Wednesday, Dec. 24, Christmas Eve Services: An Evening of Joyful Celebration will begin at 4 p.m. with a Family Service, perfect for young children; then at 5 p.m. is Family Caroling outside in the WCC courtyard with a brass band (dress warmly); and at 6 p.m. is a Candlelight Service, with vocal and instrumental music ensembles, including the English handbells and the children’s choir.
Everyone is welcome. For questions or more information, call the church office at 203.762.5591 or visit the Wilton Congregational Church online.

CHRISTMAS EVE SERVICES: The Wilton community is invited to join a special Christmas Eve celebration at St. Matthew’s Church (36 New Canaan Rd.) on Wednesday, Dec. 24. Two services are planned: the first, a family-friendly gathering at 4 p.m., followed by a more intimate service for adults at 9 p.m. To set the festive mood, both services will feature a musical prelude beginning 30 minutes before each service starts. It promises to be a joyful occasion filled with uplifting music, inspiring prayers for the season, and the Holy Eucharist. Celebrate the joy of Christmas with St. Matt’s.
STUDENT CONTEST WINNER: Wilton High School student Samantha Yan has been selected as the winner of the annual Wilton Meadows Holiday Card Contest, sponsored by The Greens at Cannondale. WHS art students from all grade levels were invited to submit original holiday card designs, showcasing creativity across a wide range of artistic styles and media.

Yan’s artwork was chosen as the winning design and has been featured as the official 2025 Wilton Meadows Holiday Card, which was distributed throughout the community. She will also receive a $1,000 scholarship in recognition of her achievement.
A display featuring the winning card along with additional student submissions is currently on view in the WHS Library Learning Commons. The exhibit highlights the talent and creativity of WHS student artists and celebrates the spirit of the season within the Wilton community.
