New Milford Hospital, part of Northwell Health, is proud to announce a transformative $1 million gift from Margery Feldberg and Jeremy Levin, MD, to support the development and operation of the New Milford Hospital Women’s Wellness Center.

A Transformative Investment in Women’s Health

“This generous gift from Ms. Feldberg and Dr. Levin is a powerful investment in the future of women’s health in our region,” said Dr. Thomas Koobatian, executive director and chief of staff at New Milford Hospital. “The New Milford Hospital Women’s Wellness Center will allow us to deliver truly comprehensive, women’s wellness services — meeting women where they are and addressing their unique needs across every stage of life. We are deeply grateful for their vision and commitment to advancing equitable, high-quality care for all women.”

Donors Committed to Community and Equity

“It gives Margery and me enormous pleasure to marry two things we care about deeply with this gift: ensuring that New Milford Hospital/Northwell can continue to provide first-rate health care to our community and ensuring that women receive the gender-specific care that they require,” Levin said. “It’s clear to me as a physician and as a health care innovator that medical needs differ between men and women and that historically, the medical system has been oriented toward men or toward gender-neutral care.”

“We’re thrilled that our gift and the other exceptional gifts pledged toward the New Milford Hospital Women’s Wellness Center will address an enormous unmet need by providing a comprehensive range of women-specific health care,” Feldberg said,
