Trackside Teen Center officials are putting Wilton residents on notice — to get ready for an unforgettable night of music, dancing and community support for Wilton’s local teens at the organization’s spring fundraiser, “Rock the Night,” an event they say will be packed with live music, dancing, food and fun — all for a great cause.
Taking place on Saturday, May 10, at Trackside Teen Center from 7:30-10:30 p.m., Rock the Night will feature live music by Wilton’s own band Present Company, a live performance by Revity3 (previously known as Fit Body Boot Camp) and a DJ spinning the best dance hits from all the eras.
This high-energy event is open to all those ages 21 and over. Tickets are available now online.
“We’re inviting the community to come out, have fun, and help us raise essential funds to keep our programs going strong,” Teen Center Director Lori Fields said. “Your support helps us offer after-school activities, mentorship, and a space for teens to socialize and feel good about themselves.”
In addition to the live music performance, dance floor and DJ rockin’ the best dance songs from all the eras, food will be sponsored by Wilton Deli, and there will be a private VIP lounge area with swag bags from local businesses.
All proceeds from the event will go directly to supporting Trackside’s programs and services. Trackside is a not-for-profit 501(c) (3) organization that has served Wilton for the past 20 years. Acting as a hub of teen activity within the community, all Trackside clubs are designed by Wilton High School teens for middle school teens in grades 6 and up.
Trackside provides opportunities for teens to engage in fun and enriching activities after school and weekends and exists as a safe, inclusive, welcoming space where teens can socialize, develop leadership skills, build confidence and have fun in an alcohol- and drug-free environment.
Trackside does not rely on any federal or local funding and must raise money to fund 100% of annual operating expenses, regular maintenance, facility upgrades and programming designed to serve a broad cross-section of teenagers. Visit the Trackside website for more information.
