Trout Unlimited is working to restore critical habitat for native brook trout in Connecticut’s Comstock Brook by removing small dams that have fragmented the trout habitat. After removing one dam, TU volunteers sculpted the river into a more natural flow and planted new stream banks to provide critical forage and habitat for all manner of wildlife.
