Wilton High School seniors are now officially scheduled to graduate on Saturday, June 14, 2025.

On Thursday, Apr. 3, the Board of Education unanimously approved WHS Principal Robert O’Donnell‘s recommendation for the graduation date.

“This class of 2025 has solid leadership and we will be working with our student leaders to ensure that enjoyable, unifying events await them,” O’Donnell wrote in a memo to Superintendent Kevin Smith, “including senior prom, senior picnic, yearbook signings, senior projects, and award ceremonies.”

Along with cementing the date, the BOE last Thursday also approved Smith’s recommendation for some minor tweaks to the 2025-26 school year calendar.

Changes include rescheduling some professional development days in order to streamline the calendar, including replacing a half-day on Oct. 1 with one on Oct. 22.

The new schedule also moves a half-day from March 11 to March 25 in 2026, as well as moving a professional development day from April 8 to May 6.

The last day of school next year is still scheduled for June 15, 2026, while breaks in December, February and April all remain the same.
