Raise a glass to coastal charm and New England tradition! Wilton Library invites you to its highly anticipated “Weekend Getaway” Spring Fundraiser on Saturday, Mar. 21, from 6:30-10:30 p.m. Guests will journey through all six New England states in one unforgettable evening. Experience the authentic character and spirit of our beloved region all while supporting the library’s vital community mission to inform, enrich, connect and inspire.
“Weekend Getaway combines everything we love about New England all under one roof for one incredible evening. Our staff, volunteers, and event partners are creating an immersive party capturing the essence of our region’s magic,” Wilton Library Executive Director Caroline Mandler said. “We love welcoming both new and familiar faces into the library for a truly distinctive experience — a Saturday night, the spaces transformed, live music filling the rooms, people connecting — you won’t want to miss it!”
“We’re seeing tremendous excitement around this year’s theme,” Wilton Library Association Development Committee Chair Sara Sclafani said. “Weekend Getaway is a joyful way to celebrate our community while supporting the library at the heart of Wilton. We’re grateful to partner with local favorites including AMG Catering & Events, Ancona’s Wines & Liquors, Captain Obvious, Litchfield Distillery, Nod Hill Brewery, Rise Doughnuts, to name a few, along with beloved resident Franey Donovan serving in a special role, and local artists donating artwork.”
This fabulous evening features gourmet passed appetizers, open bar with craft cocktails and curated tastings, live music, a sports lounge, coveted silent auction items, a wine pull, a spirited paddle raise, a photo booth, mini golf and more.
Additional event partners include Justin Baiad Photography, Ben & Jerry’s, Borrowed, the Lake Club, M Communications, Mirror Me CT Photo Booths, Scoops, Tempo Golf Company and Watson Farmhouse Brewery.
Tickets are on sale now at $150 per person and may be purchased online; or by contacting Marie Demasi via email or at 203.762.6323. Guests must be at least 21 years of age to attend. New England-inspired attire is encouraged.
