For the 2025 Wilton Municipal Elections, GOOD Morning Wilton asked all candidates to submit a 150-word bio; candidates running for the Boards of Selectmen, Finance and Education and the Planning and Zoning Commission were asked to sit for a video interview and submit an 800-word op-ed. Candidate Submitted Bio
Becca LaMantia is a community advocate, parent and nonprofit leader running for the Board of Assessment Appeals. With experience in program management, community organizing and data-driven decision making, she brings a pragmatic, inclusive approach to local government.
Her career in nonprofits included leading national diversity and equity reporting in the entertainment industry, where she built coalitions and drove change across institutions. After returning to her husband’s hometown to raise her family, Becca quickly became active in civic life. She serves as campaign manager for the Democratic Town Committee and leads fellowship programming at St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church.
Becca is committed to keeping Wilton a place where families can thrive. She understands how assessments affect housing affordability and stability, and will ensure residents have a transparent appeals process. As a Millennial and parent of a toddler, she brings a generational perspective and a record of listening, organizing and delivering results.
