229 Olmstead Hill Rd. (top) and 21 Woodchuck Lane —built 220 years apart — were among the latest properties to change hands in Wilton.

Each week the Wilton Town Clerk’s office releases data for the prior week’s real estate transactions. For the one-week period from Feb. 2-8, 2024Town Clerk Lori Kaback reported three residential properties changed hands. 

The three properties represented a wide range of price points, from $450,000 to just over $1.8 million.

229 Olmstead Hill Rd., which was built in 1784, was among the latest property transfers. It was owned by the Samuel Williams family through the 1800s before being sold to Adolph Hemmelskamp in 1905, according to documents on the Wilton Historical Society‘s website.

No condominiums or commercial properties changed hands during the one-week period.
