In addition to candidate op-eds, our Special Election Issue also provides each political town committee with the opportunity to submit one, 600-word op-ed on behalf of its endorsed candidates running for municipal seats, and/or its platform. More information is available in GMW’s Election Guidelines and Policies.
Dear Fellow Wiltonians,
We call our slate the “Row B” team rather than simply Republicans because it includes unaffiliated and Libertarian voters as well as Republicans. In Wilton, party labels matter less than our shared commitment to the town we love. We’re neighbors first — and we take our cues from Wilton, not Hartford or Washington.
What does Row B stand for? Good people doing good work: thoughtful residents who bring experience, integrity and purpose to public service. There was no political litmus test when we built our team. We sought capable, community-minded residents willing to lead.
You won’t see attack ads or mean-spirited letters from Row B. We don’t tear others down; we build Wilton up. We stand for fiscal responsibility, transparency, respect and practical solutions strengthening our community.
Andy Warren — Board of Selectmen: Andy brings over 25 years of financial leadership and a commitment to Wilton’s future. As a CPA and strategic advisor, he has guided organizations with fiscal discipline, transparency and long-term vision. A Wilton resident for over a decade, Andy understands the importance of preserving our small-town character while supporting thoughtful, sustainable growth. His proven leadership make him an ideal candidate for the Board of Selectmen. Wilton will benefit greatly from Andy’s financial expertise, strategic thinking and dedication to our community’s well-being.
Board of Finance — Matt Raimondi and Kim Healy: Incumbent chair Matt Raimondi and Kim Healy form a proven team. Matt’s steady leadership has ensured disciplined financial management and open communication. Kim’s service on the Board of Selectmen and Capital Planning Committee shows her deep understanding of Wilton’s priorities and ability to get things done. Together they offer balanced stewardship that safeguards our finances.
Board of Education — Mark Shaner (Unaffiliated): Mark is the sort of candidate any town would welcome. As a leader at an AI company, he understands preparing students for a changing world. Mark champions academic excellence, transparency and collaboration with the Board of Finance to ensure sound, student-centered decisions.
Planning and Zoning Commission — Jill Warren, Colin Christ and Jed Englund: This team combines experience, insight and vision. Incumbent Jill Warren’s legal expertise and six years of service guide balanced development. Colin adds strategic and operational experience. Jed contributes financial expertise and a focus on transparency. Together they’ll promote thoughtful growth that protects Wilton’s character.
Zoning Board of Appeals — Amit Vohra, Justin Anderson, Phil Murphy and Greg Murphy: These candidates offer professionalism and community roots. Amit (Unaffiliated) brings global business experience. Justin contributes practical knowledge of local zoning and construction. Alternates Phil and Greg add civic engagement and financial judgment. They’ll ensure zoning decisions remain fair and transparent.
Board of Assessment Appeals — Eamon Moran: Eamon brings fiscal responsibility and practical, data-driven solutions to the Board of Assessment Appeals. With strong analytical and problem-solving skills, he approaches complex issues thoughtfully and ensures fair, transparent and balanced assessment processes. His commitment to sound financial management and decision-making will benefit Wilton residents now and in the future.
Constables — Lauren Gold, Justin Tishman and Alex Ralph: Lauren, Justin and Alex (Libertarian) share a deep commitment to service and public safety. Lauren’s two decades in insurance and volunteer work reflect her dedication to families. Justin’s law-enforcement background and business leadership bring steady, people-focused judgment. Alex adds an independent voice grounded in civic responsibility.
Wilton deserves leaders who put people over politics — who listen, collaborate and lead with respect. The Row B team embodies that promise. They’re not running to make headlines; they’re running to make a difference.
This Election Day, vote Row B — when Wilton leads with integrity, everyone wins.
Thank you.
Peter Wrampe,
Chair, Wilton Republican Town Committee
