Wilton Public Schools are operating on an early dismissal schedule today, Thursday, Jan. 2. That’s in anticipation of Winter Storm Hercules. Given the fact that today is the first day back from winter break, which began Dec. 20, 2013, it’s not surprising that schools’ superintendent Dr. Gary Richards is bringing the kids in for at least some time in the classroom before snow makes it too dangerous for buses, parents and school employees to be on the road later today.
Here’s the schedule of operation hours and dismissal times:
Wilton High School/Middlebrook 8:20 – 10:30 a.m. (yes, they dismiss first)
Cider Mill School 7:40 – 11:30 a.m.
Miller-Driscoll 9:05 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
Check in with GOOD Morning Wilton through the day and on Friday for further updates on the storm and how it will affect school on Friday. Sign up for our newsletter and email list and follow us on Facebook and Twitter for storm coverage and all up-to-the-minute news on Wilton.
