Friday, Feb. 20, 2026 at 1:15 p.m. — The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Watch for Wilton, in effect now through Monday, Feb. 23, at 6 p.m.

Weather officials say that heavy snow is possible from Sunday morning, Feb. 22 through Monday afternoon. At the moment, they’re saying that 6-10 inches of total snow accumulations are possible, and that winds could gust as high as 40 mph.

The storm watch is in effect throughout the tri-state area and portions of New England.

If snow hits as predicted, travel could be very difficult, with areas of blowing snow significantly reducing visibility, and hazardous conditions could impact the Monday morning and evening commutes. The combination of gusty winds and heavy wet snow could bring down tree branches.

GOOD Morning Wilton will continue to monitor the weather reports through the weekend and bring you updates on any changes or situations as they arise.
