The following was compiled from a press release from the campaign of Deb McFadden, who is running for first selectman of Wilton.

CT Lt. Gov. Nancy Wyman and Atty. General George Jepsen attended a gathering of Deb McFadden supporters at her Wilton home last Saturday, Aug. 15. The event was held as part of her bid to become Wilton’s first selectman.

“With her leadership experience and incredible energy, Deb is the right person to make things happen in Wilton,” Wyman stated,  in comments on the need for fiscal responsibility in balancing taxes and economic development.

Similarly supportive, Jepsen said he viewed McFadden as an “…outstanding candidate who knows how to get things done,” adding that she’ll govern with, “…both a heart as well as discipline.”
