The Parent Advisory Board for Special Services in Wilton Public Schools is hosting a seminar on details of 504 plans, IEPs and team meetings. The seminar is scheduled to take place at the Wilton Library (second floor) on March 6, 10 a.m.-12 noon.
Prepare for the spring team meetings and learn about details of 504 plans and IEPs (individualized education programs). Speaker Alyce Alfano joined the Connecticut Bureau of Special Education in December 2013 and works in the Due Process Unit as an education consultant. Alfano has been practicing special education law for 21 years. Her most recent work experience has been as owner and managing partner of Alfano Education Law Group, a law practice that has represented families of children with disabilities.
