Wilton resident and life transition coach Alison Jacobson has a passion–helping women get past their inner fears that prevent them from achieving happiness and success. She’s offering a free workshop for women in Wilton this week on conquering fear and achieving goals, called “Shut the Fear Up – How to Become a Courageous, Confident, Kick-Ass Woman!”
“Several years ago I was there. I was paralyzed with fear and I didn’t know how to get past it. I was in a bad place emotionally and financially but I felt trapped and didn’t see a way out. But one day I woke up and realized that this was no way to live and I started figuring out how to become self-confident and courageous. I began doing some serious work on myself–following some of the greatest motivational gurus, practicing meditation and getting stronger physically. It didn’t happen overnight and it required some hard work and focus but it paid off! People saw where I had been and where I am today and started asking me to help them get there too. That’s how my coaching business began.”
Jacobson is offering her workshop on Friday, March 11 from 7-8 p.m. at the Conservatory of Dance Studio located at 151 Old Ridgefield Rd. to introduce women to some of her secrets. Admission is free but an RSVP is required as space is limited. To learn more or register, e-mail Jacobson directly.
