We’ve had so much fun putting together GOOD Morning Wilton‘s “Gift Guides 2013″!
By talking with Wilton vendors and business people, we’ve learned so much about their businesses and we’ve seen such great items–many of which have been lovely surprises. And we heard such great feedback from readers and the business community about all the amazing gift ideas Under $20 that we showed you last week, and the guide for gifts below $50 that we published yesterday. Make sure you check out both of the other guides we put together, especially if you haven’t already.
Now we’re so excited to bring you even more fabulous gift suggestions from your local retailers and entrepreneurs right here in Wilton.
Remember, be sure to read the descriptions carefully–some of the retailers have offered special discounts and offers only for GOOD Morning Wilton readers. Look for the codes and specials.
If there isn’t something that’s just right for you on this long list, that’s okay, as long as you get to know your Wilton shops, stores, artists and businesses just a little bit better. Stop in, check out their websites or get in touch with them, because there’s bound to be something you fall in love with wherever you go!
And make sure to tell them, GOOD Morning Wilton sent you!
We all picture the faces of our loved ones and friends, when they open that gift you’ll be giving them, and we hope it’s the look that says, “It’s perfect! It’s just what I wanted!” We bet there’s someone on your list who will love at least one of the items we’ve found below. A little more extravagant, but worth the effort to make that special someone happy.

If there’s a wine-lover on your list, Ancona’s Wines & Liquors has the secret that will make you the hero gift-giver.
In the world of wine, there are many good winegrowers. However, there are only a very select few who are truly great, and Auguste Clape is among them. Critics and connoisseurs alike all agree that he is one of the greatest pioneers of the Northern Rhone, and his Syrahs from the cru of Cornas are among the most celebrated wines of France. The wines are capable of tremendous longevity in the cellar, although we encourage trying them while they are young and fresh, to better appreciate the evolution to come.
For a taste of the old-style Syrah from the fabulous, sculptured slopes of the Northern Rhone, Auguste Clape’s Cornas is the only place to start. “The flagship wine, the 2011 Cornas exhibits classic notes of blackberries, cassis, camphor, incense, violets and hints of forest floor as well as steak tartare, a sensational texture, a full-bodied opulence, and terrific richness. This remarkable Cornas can be drunk early or cellared for 15-20 years.” (Wine Advocate, 95-97 Points) $130.99, Ancona’s is at 5 River Rd..
