For Wilton families that decorate in December with greens or are on the hunt for Christmas wreaths and trees, there are two great options without leaving town—and which give back to local organizations.

Wilton Boy Scout Troop 125 Wreath Sale

Every year Wilton’s Boy Scout Troop 125 sells wreaths and pine roping as a fundraiser. The wreaths are made of natural balsam fir and the bows are handmade. Members of the troop will be outside Village Market and in the parking lot at Orem’s Diner this weekend.

In addition, any cash contributions that are donated above the cost of greens that are purchased are collected by the boys to purchase wreaths to place on the headstones of the graves of all Wilton Soldiers who died in military service.

The cost of the greens sold by the Boy Scouts are as follows:

Undecorated small wreath $15
Undecorated medium wreath $35
Decorated small wreath $20
Decorated medium wreath $40
Decorated large wreath $85
Pine roping $1/foot
