We’re counting down the days, hours and minutes until Ambler Farm Day this Sunday, Oct. 6, which opens noon-4 p.m. Speaking of counting, we’ve got some other fun, by-the-number Ambler Farm Day facts and figures to hold you over until the fun begins this weekend.

Families from Wilton and beyond will descend upon the farm for Ambler Farm’s pinnacle event of the year. Ambler Farm Day is a fall festival filled with activities for all ages! Fan favorites include the Apple Slingshot, Hay Maze, Build-Your-Own Scarecrow, Hayrides, Pie-In-The Face, Pumpkin Patch, Dunk-A-Local Celebrity and more. Enjoy live music while roaming from booth to booth, or park yourself at a picnic table to feast on food available for purchase from five different food trucks. Need fresh produce and delicious sweet treats for your week? Don’t forget to visit the Sweets and Treats booth for freshly baked pies and other sweet goodies, along with the Farm Stand for the freshest produce in Wilton!

What to Know Before You Go

  • Ambler Farm is located at 257 Hurlbutt St. in Wilton
  • Parking opens at 12 p.m. sharp. Enter via the Ambler Farm Soccer Field parking entrance.
  • School bus shuttles are available between the farm and overflow parking at the Cannondale Train Station throughout the event.
  • Parking Tip: There’s a better chance of parking on site if you arrive after 2 p.m.
  • Be conscientious of neighbors. There is No Parking along Hurlbutt St. or in surrounding neighborhoods.
  • Admission is no longer through payment in the parking lot. Attendees will pay per person at the Red Barn after parking: $10/Adult, $5/Child 4 yrs -12 yrs, $5/Senior Citizen, and children under 4 are free.
  • Activities range from free to $6. Activity Stations only accept cash, so plan ahead.
  • Credit cards are only accepted at Entry, Farm Stand, Sweets + Treats, and Merchandise.
  • Children under 14 years old should not be dropped off and left unattended.
  • The Farm Stand is open to pick up fresh produce for Sunday dinner!
  • Don’t feel like carrying fresh produce or freshly baked pies around the festival? Purchase items and pick-up at the end of the event at both the Farm Stand and the Sweets + Treats booth for a convenient (and fresh) exit.
  • BYO water bottles to use at the Ambler Farm + Wilton Go Green Hydration Station for a chance to win a local gift card.
  • No need to pack a picnic: there’s plenty to eat! There’s the Ambler Farm Farm Stand and Sweets + Treats Booth plus five food trucks will be on-site selling a variety of items
