The National PTA Reflections Student Art Competition is accepting entries, with a deadline of Friday, Jan. 6. Students from all four schools can enter and win a chance to move forward in the competition at the state and national level.

The annual competition challenges students to submit original pieces of art in a variety of categories along a theme. This year’s theme is “What is Your Story?”

Students are encouraged to submit original pieces of art in one or more of the following categories:

  • Visual Arts
  • Photography
  • Dance Choreography
  • Literature
  • Film Production
  • Musical Composition

This is a great opportunity for student artists at all grade levels to reflect on the theme and create art, with the potential to be recognized. Visual arts entries will be displayed at the Wilton Library in January. First place winners will move forward to the state level and state winners on to the national level.
