Wilton Library’s hugely popular Awesome Autumn Book Sale takes place at the library from Friday, Sept. 26 through Monday, Sept. 29. Not only is it a treasure trove of well-priced items, it’s also an important fundraiser for the library.
The schedule is as follows:
- Friday, 8-10 a.m.: Early buying begins with a $25 admission fee
- Friday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.: the sale continues with free admission
- Saturday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.: the sale continues with free admission
- Sunday, 1-5 p.m.: all items are half price
- Monday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.: $5 per bag pricing.
The sale promises all new inventory, with thousands of items sorted in 50 categories. Everyone is covered in this fundraiser:
- great finds for tots to teens in the Brubeck Room with selections from board books to picture books to young adult novels
- vintage and antique collectibles in the Gallery
- a full Book Cellar featuring a large assortment of items including bestsellers; fiction and nonfiction; hard cover and paperback novels; and categories such as self-help, sports, literature, poetry, music, entertainment, mysteries, business and technology information, art, history, cookbooks, gardening, travel, biographies, and more; DVDs, vinyl, CDs and books on CDs.
