Trackside Teen Center will welcome Hannah Bellows as the new musical theater instructor this September. A resident of Waterbury, Hannah earned her degree in musical theater from Western Connecticut State University. She was recently granted the National SDC Directing Fellowship at the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival (KCACTF) National Festival in April of 2015. She also completed a residency at the Eugene O’Neill Theatre Center, where she served as assistant director for two plays in the National Playwright’s Conference this year.
With extensive training in singing, dancing, acting, and directing, Bellows is joining Trackside to offer a unique musical theater experience for Wilton students. The Musical Theater Class is designed to allow students to choose which musical numbers they would like to learn and to collaborate on a musical showcase to be performed at the end of the course. The Musical Theater Class at Trackside is offered Thursdays from 4-5 p.m. beginning Sept. 17 and ending Nov. 12. Class fee for eight classes is $125.
Students of all experience levels are invited to join. For more information and registration, visit the Trackside website or contact Amy Nassef at 203.834.2888 or via email. You can learn more about Hannah Bellows at her website.
