Wilton’s Boy Scout Troop 125 is hosting an October Campout Recruiting Weekend Oct. 28-30 for families interested in learning more about what scouting is all about.

Families new to scouting, or WEBELOS scouts looking to take the next step of the journey, who would like to find out what it’s like to be a Boy Scout are invited to join Troop 125 at Castle Hill Farm in Newtown.

Some highlights of the weekend will include learning Scout engineering skills with trebuchets, catapults and slingshots; a pumpkin chucking competition, a corn maze and more.

There is no cost for WEBELOS, parents or other guests of the Troop. Advance registration is required. Anyone interested in finding out more about attending should email Troop 125 leaders Will Klancko or Eric Cameron.
