After a well-attended information session in January, Solarize Wilton will be holding an evening workshop to inform Wilton residents about a solar home program offering benefits to individuals who participate. The evening session is on Wednesday, March 16, from 7-9 p.m. at the Wilton Family YMCA.
Nineteen Wilton residents have already made the choice to go solar with this program. The town-wide solar program is designed to help single-family homeowners save money on energy bills with solar energy; the program incorporates discount pricing, financing and tax-credit benefits.
The program has been endorsed by Wilton town officials as well as the Wilton Energy Commission and Wilton Go Green. For additional information, visit the Solarize Wilton website.
